LULLINGSTON, (Kent) on the Derwent, was anciently the seat of a noble family of that name, and afterwards of the Rosses, Rokesleys, and Peches, and by the heiress of the Peches it came to the late Sir Percival Hart. Sir John Peche, who was Ld. of this T. founded an almsh. here, and gave 500 l. to other pious uses, to be performed by the grocers company in London.
