METHWOLD, (Norfolk) 68 cm. 79 mm. from London, has a Mt. on F. and is noted for breeding of excellent rabbets, commonly
called Mewil rabbets. In the R. of Edw. III. it bel. to Maud Dss.-dowager of Bavaria, and passed, by the marriage of her
sister and heir, Lady Blanch, to John of Gaunt, D. of Lancaster.
