PATHLOW, (Warwickshire) the name of a H. in the Conqueror's time, but now only a liberty, containing several Ts. bet. Warwick and Aulcester, which anciently bel. to the Dss. of Worcester, and afterwards to John Dudley Earl of Warwick, on whose attainder it came to the crown, and was by K. James I. granted to Sir Fr. Smyth, whose son, Sir Charles, had it in 1640, and it still continues in the family.
