REDGRAVE, (Suffolk) on the N. E. side of Buddesdale, bel. formerly to the abbey of St. Edmundsbury; but was afterwards the seat of the Bacons, descendcd from Sir Francis Ld, Verulam, till it was sold to Ld.-Ch.-Just. Holt; whose beautiful marble monument is in its Ch. with an excellent latin epitaph by the late Dr. Halley.
