SANDERSTED, (Surrey) near Croydon, was in the family of the Atwoods in the beginning of the 6th century, and so it was not very long ago, if it be not still. From hence there is a delightful prospect on the N. side to Croydon, and on the N. W. side to Harrow-on-the-hill, and some parts of Bucks and Berks to Hampshire, and over all Bansted-downs.
