SHILTON, (Devon) in Modbury p. was heretofore the manor of the Shiltons; after whom it passed to the Gonctons; one of whom
sold it to Sir John Hill, a judge of the K's.-bench in the R. of Hen. IV. His descendants flourished here for generations;
but they sold it to Mr. Savery.
