SHOTWICH, (Cheshire) on the Dee, N.W. of Chester, has the ruins of a castle of the Ks. of England, inclosed in their park,
of which the Wilbrahams had the keeping. From hence to Flintshire, the Dee is a m. over. Near its Ch. is an old house,
that was the seat of the Heckenhalls.
