STOCKINGFORD, (Warwickshire) was originally a member of Nun-Eaton, and bel. partly to the canons of Leicester, and partly
to the nuns of Eaton. The share of the latter was granted by the crown, after the Diss. to Sir Marmaduke Constable; the
other part was granted to Charles D. of Suffolk, and is since divided into several hands.
