STOKE-DALBERON, (Surrey) or STOKE-DABORN, or STOKE-DABERNON, near the r. Mole, bet. Cobham and Fetcham, bel. once to the family of Dabernon, to whose ancestor it was granted by Will. the Conq. from which, thro' many descents and intermarriages, it came to Sir John Norbury, and then to the ancient family of the Vincents, by Tho. Vincent's marriage of the daughter of Tho. Lyfield; and is now the manor of Sir Hen. Vincent, Bt. who has a fine old brick seat here by the Ch. At Jessops-Well here is a purging water.
