STOKE-GOLDING, (Leicestershire) or MANSFIELD, in the p. of Hinckley, to which it has a chapel of ease, bel. formerly to
the Harringtons, whose descendant was Ld. Harrington of Burley in Rutlandshire. The top of the spire of its chapel, which
is equal to many p.-Chs. and endowed with all the sacramental rights, was shaken down by a general earthquake in 1580.
