STRETTON-BASKERVILE, (Warwickshire) on the Watling-Street, to the N. of Wolvey, bel. anciently to the Mortimers, the
Baskerviles, Ralph Fitz-Nicholas, the Twyfords, and the Smiths; but is since, with its Ch. gone to ruin. In a ground,
called the Township, the extent of it is plainly to be seen. with the lanes, streets, Ch.-yard, &c. as also the site of
the mansion-house of Ralph Fitz-Nicholas, and several pools near Burton-Hastings.
