TENDRING-HALL, (Suffolk) near Stoke by Neyland, was anciently a manor-house of the D. of Norfolk, who came to it by Sir John Howard's marriage with the daughter of Sir Will. Tendring. From the Howards it passed to Ld. Windsor, who sold it to the father of Sir John Williams.
