TISEHURST, (Sussex) on the N. side of Echingham, was the native-place of Barnard Randolph, common-serjeant of London, who
dying in 1583 left great sums for the relief of the poor here, and repair of the roads; of which charity he made the
fishmongers company of this city trustees.
