TORRINGTON-BLACK, (Devon) W. of Hatherley, near a r. whose water is blackish. It gives name to one of the largest Hs. in
the Co. and formerly bel. to the Zouches, then to the Fitzwarrens, and then to the Dorell's; from whom it came to the
Harris's.
