WALTHAM, (Kent) near Hinksell, bel. once to the Criols, and then to the Poynings; but falling to the crown was granted by Hen. VIII. to Sir Richard Damsel, who sold it to Goldhill, and he to Edolph; from whom it went with Hincksell to John Angel of Crowherst, and so to Edw. Chowte of Bethersden.
