WARDBRIDGE, (Cornwall) or WAADBRIDGE, 5 m. S. of Padstow, 195 cm. 248 mm. from London, has a bridge over the r. Camel, much the largest in the Co. some of whose arches are built upon woolpacks, because of the quick-sands. It has a Mt. on S. and Fairs May 1, June 11, and Aug. 1. Near it are 9 great stones in a row, called the Sisters, but why, is not known.
