WIGBOROUGH-LlTTLE, (Essex) stands W. of Mersey-Island, across the creek, and joins to the former. The contents of this
village have been computed at about 700 acres. The manor-house stood near the sea, and was called Copped-Hall. It bel. to
the charter-house, whose governor purchased it of Sir John Cotton of Landwood, in 1613.
