ADBEER, a hamlet in the parish of TRENT, hundred
of HORETHORNE, county of SOMERSET, 4 miles
(N.E. by N.) from Yeovil. The population is returned
with the parish. Here was formerly a chapel, dedicated
to the Virgin Mary, which was demolished during
the civil war in the reign of Charles I.
