parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, 6 miles
(N. N. W.) from Lincoln, containing 70 inhabitants.
The living is a discharged rectory, with the vicarage of
West Thorpe annexed, in the archdeaconry of Stow, and
diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £4. 10.,
and in the patronage of Mrs. Mangles. The church is
dedicated to St. Peter.
