ALBURGH, a parish in the hundred of EARSHAM,
county of NORFOLK, 3 miles (N.E. by N.) from Harleston,
containing 601 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of
Norfolk, rated in the king's books at £12, and in the
patronage of the Heirs of Sir R. Hill, Bart., to a fellow
of St. John's College, Cambridge. The church is
dedicated to All. Saints.
