ALDHAM, a parish in the hundred of COSFORD,
county of SUFFOLK, 2 miles (N. N. E.) from Hadleigh,
containing 292 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
in the archdeaconry of Sudbury, and diocese of Norwich,
rated in the king's books at £10. 13. 4., and in
the patronage of Thomas Barrett Lennard, Esq. The
church is dedicated to St. Mary.
