of BLACKHEATH, county of SURREY, 8 miles
(S.E. by S.) from Godalming, containing 470 inhabitants.
The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Surrey,
and diocese of Winchester, rated in the king's books
at £6. 11. 2., and in the patronage of the Rev. L. W.
Elliot. The Arun and Wey junction canal passes
through this parish.
