The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Lewes, and diocese of Chichester, rated in the king's books at £11. 16. 0., and in the patronage of the Crown. The church, dedicated to St. Andrew, exhibits a mixture of the decorated and later styles of English architecture.
