ALLHALLOWS, a parish in the hundred of Hoo, lathe of AYLESFORD, county of KENT, 9 miles (N. E.) from Rochester, containing 259 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Rochester, rated in the king's books at £8. 7- 11., endowed with £400 private benefaction, and £400 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Rochester. The church is dedicated to St. Mary. The river Thames bounds this parish on the north.
