county of SOMERSET, 1 mile (N.) from Castle-Cary,
containing 300 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in
the archdeaconry of Wells, and diocese of Bath and
Wells, rated in the king's books at £7. 12. 1., and in
the patronage of J. Woodford, Esq. The church is
dedicated to St. Andrew.
