ALPINGTON, a parish in the hundred of LODDON,
county of NORFOLK, 6 miles (S. E.) from Norwich, containing,
with Yelverton, 169 inhabitants. The living is
a discharged rectory, with that of Yelverton united, in
the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich,
and in the patronage of the Crown.
