ARMINGHALL, a parish in the hundred of HENSTEAD, county of NORFOLK, 3 miles (S. E. by S.) from Norwich, containing 115 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the peculiar jurisdiction and patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Norwich, endowed with £400 royal bounty, and £200 parliamentary grant. The church is dedicated to St. Mary. Here is a school, with an endowment of £5 per annum. The old hall, or manor-house, has a very rich and curious porch.
