ASWARDBY, a parish in the hundred of HILL, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, 4 miles. (N. W. by N.) from Spilsby, containing 80 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £7-19. 4., and in the patronage of R. C. Breakenbury, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Helen. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
