BARNHAM-BROOM, a parish in the hundred of FOREHOE, county of NORFOLK, 4 miles (N. N. W.) from Wymondham, containing 388 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, united, with that of Bixton, to the vicarage of Kimberley, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at£ 12.8. l. The church is dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul: there was formerly another, dedicated to St. Michael, but it is now desecrated. Here is a small endowment for the instruction of six poor children.
