BARTON-MILLS, a parish in the hundred of LACKFORD,
county of SUFFOLK, l mile (S, E.) from Mildenhall,
containing 523 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
in the archdeaconry of Sudbury, and diocese of Norwich,
rated in the king's books at £4. 15. 10., and in the
patronage of the Crown. The church is dedicated to
St. Mary. There is a place of worship for Particular
Baptists.
