BARTON-TURF, a parish in the hundred of TUNSTEAD,
county of NORFOLK, 5 miles (E. by N.) from
Coltishall, containing 371 inhabitants. The living is a
discharged vicarage, united to the rectory of Irstead,
in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich,
rated in the king's books at £3. 13. 4. The
church is dedicated to St. Michael.
