county of SUFFOLK, 2 miles (S. by E.)
from Needham-Market, containing 237 inhabitants. The
living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk,
and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at
£12. 4. 9., and in the patronage of N. Lee Acton, Esq.
The church is dedicated to St. Peter. The Stow-Market
and Ipswich canal bounds the parish on the north-east.
