of CARLFORD, county of SUFFOLK, 2 miles (W.) from
Woodbridge, containing 339 inhabitants. The living is
a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk,
and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at
£10. 4. 7., and in the patronage of Lord Henniker.
The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
