BEDINGFIELD, a parish in the hundred of
HOXNE, county of SUFFOLK, 4 miles (S. S. B.) from
Eye, containing 318 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Suifolk, and
diocese of Norwich, rated in the Icing's books at £8,
and in the patronage of J. J. Bedingfield, Esq. The
church is dedicated to St. Mary.
