BICKER, a parish in the wapentake of KIRTON, parts of HOLLAND, county of LINCOLN, 1-f mile (N. E. by N.) from Donington, containing 627 inhabitants; but, with the extra - parochial liberties of Coppin-Sike and Ferry-Corner, 644. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £ 15, and in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Lincoln. The church is dedicated to St. Swithin. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists. The school has a small endowment for the instruction of children.
