BIX-GIBWEN, a parish in the hundred of BINFIELD,
county of OXFORD, 2 miles (N. W.) from Henley
upon Thames. The population is returned with
Bix-Brand. The living is a rectory, consolidated with
that of Bix-Brand, in the archdeaconry and diocese
of Oxford. The church, which was dedicated to St.
Michael, is in ruins.
