BLYBOROUGH, a parish in the western division
of the wapentake of ASLACOE, parts of LINDSEY, county
of LINCOLN, 9 miles (E. N. E.) from Gainsborough,
containing 184 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in
the archdeaconry of Stow, and diocese of Lincoln, rated
in the king's books at £19, and in the patronage of the
Crown. The church is dedicated to St. Alkmond. There
are mineral springs in the parish.
