BRAMERTON, a parish in the hundred of HENSTEAD, county of NORFOLK, 5 miles (S. E. by E.) from Norwich, containing 184 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £6, and in the patronage of Robert Fellowes, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Peter. The Rev. William Berney, in 1715, bequeathed £100 for the instruction of children, or the relief of the poor.
