BRAMPTON, a parish in the hundred of BLYTHING,
county of SUFFOLK, 4 miles (N. E.) from Halesworth,
containing 255 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Suffollcr and
diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £20,
and in the patronage of the Rev. N. T. O. Leman. The
church is dedicated to St. Peter.
