BRIDGE, a parish in the hundred of BRIDGE-and-PETHAM, lathe of ST-AUGUSTINE, county of KENT, 3 miles (S. E. by S.) from Canterbury, containing 432 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Patrixbourne, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Canterbury. The church, dedicated to St. Peter, is principally in the Norman style. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists. The Little Stour runs through the parish.
