BRINTON, a parish in the hundred of HOLT, county
of NORFOLK, 3 miles (W. S. W.) from Holt, containing
221 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory,
annexed to that of Thornage, in the archdeaconry and
diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at
£8. 11. 4. The chtirch is dedicated to St. Andrew.
