county of SOMERSET, 4 miles (N.) from
Tauntqn, containing 4.89 inhabitants. The living is adonative,
in the peculiar jurisdiction of the., Dean of
Wells, endowed with £400 private, benefaction, and,
£400 royal bounty, and in the patronage of Col.-
Hamilton. In the churchyard is, a stone cross somewhat
mutilated.
