BUDBROOK, a parish in the Snitterfield "division of the hundred of BARLICHWAY, county of WARWICK, l mile (W. N.W.) from Warwick,'containing 438 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Worcester, rated in the king's books at £ 8, and in the patronage of the Mayor and Corporation of Warwick. The church is dedicated to St. Michael. The Warwick and Birmingham canal crosses the parish. The school is endowed with part of the rental of-some land that was bequeathed by Job Marston, in 1701, the remainder of which is distributed among the poor.
