BURTON-PEDWARDINE, a parish in the wapentake of ASWARDHURN, parts of KESTEYEN, county of LINCOLN, 4 miles (S. E. by E.) from Sleaford, containing 124 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £7. 12. 8., and in the patronage of T. O. Hunter, Esq. The church, dedicated to St. Andrew, has a lofty tower of considerable antiquity, but is in a very ruinous condition.
