CADEBY, a parish in the hundred of SPARKENHOE,
county of LEICESTER, 1 mile (E. S. E.) from Market-
Bosworth, containing, with a part of the township of
Osbaston, 343 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in
the archdeaconry of Leicester, and diocese of Lincoln,
rated in the king's books at £4, 10. 2., and in the patronage
of Sir Willoughby Dixie, Bart. The church is
dedicated to All Saints.
