CAMMERINGHAM, a parish in the western division of the wapentake of ASLACOE, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, ?£ miles (N. N. W.) from Lincoln, containing 142 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Stow, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £5. 4. 2., and in the patronage of Lord Monson. The church, dedicated to St. Michael, is a modern building, constructed with the materials of the former edifice. Limestone is obtained here.
