CHARSFIELD, a parish in the hundred of LOES,
county of SUFFOLK, 3 miles (w. by N.) from Wickham-
Market, containing 549 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual
curacy, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese
of Norwich, endowed with £ 600 royal bounty, and in the
patronage of W. Jennens, Esq. The church is dedicated
to St. Peter. There is a place of worship for Particular
Baptists.
