county of BUCKINGHAM, 2 miles (N. W.) from
Ivinghoe, containing 341 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Buckingham, and diocese
of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £ 15. 9. 7->
and in the patronage of the Trustees of the Earl or
Bridgewater. The church is dedicated to St. Giles.
