county of BUCKINGHAM, 2 miles (N.E. by E.) from
Newport-Pagnell, containing 219 inhabitants. The living
is a vicarage, in the archdeaconry.of Buckingham, and
diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £8, and
in the patronage of C. Chester, Esq. The church is dedicated
to St. Lawrence.
