CHICKSTON, a hamlet in the parish of LITTLEHAM,
eastern division of the hundred of BUDLEIGH,
county of DEVON. The population is returned-with the
parish. Here was formerly a chapel, which was dedi-
cated to our Saviour, but it has been destroyed.
